Description

Since joining Ryanair’s in-house design team, I’ve had the opportunity to work at the heart of one of Europe’s most recognizable travel brands. As a Junior Graphic Designer, I contribute to the development of a wide range of visual materials that support the airline’s communications — both externally, across airports and digital platforms, and internally, within the company’s corporate environment.

Low Fares, Great Care

My role involves daily collaboration with the wider design, product, marketing departments and the social media team, with whom I work closely to create dynamic, on-brand visual content for various campaigns. Whether it’s producing engaging Instagram reels, animated ads, or designing templates for upcoming promotions, I help ensure a consistent and bold visual language across all digital touchpoints.

Flash Sales and Promos

A big part of my work at Ryanair revolves around the creation of visual assets for the brand’s flash sales and promotional campaigns. These limited-time offers are featured across Ryanair’s website, app, and social channels — reaching millions of users across Europe in just a few hours. I’m responsible for designing a wide range of visuals, from homepage banners and animated hero sections to static promotional tiles and email graphics. Each campaign needs to be bold, fast, and instantly recognizable — capturing attention while staying consistent with Ryanair’s brand identity.

Fleethub Contents

Fleethub is Ryanair’s internal social platform, where employees from across Europe can connect, share ideas, and stay up to date with company news. As part of the design team, I work closely with various departments to create engaging visual content tailored to their messages. From animated videos and to digital posters, each piece is designed to inform, inspire, and reflect Ryanair’s energetic tone of voice.

The video below was created in collaboration with the International Communications team as a visual recap of our work during the first half of 2025. Our ongoing partnership includes the creation of posters, flyarounds, and route announcement assets shared on Fleethub to connect and celebrate teams across the network.

Airport Brandings

At Ryanair, I work on the design of branded materials specifically created for airports across Europe. These include everything from eye-catching billboard designs and wayfinding signage to fully branded check-in desks and boarding areas.

The goal is to deliver a cohesive and recognizable brand presence within the airport environment — welcoming passengers with bold visuals, playful messaging, and a consistent tone that reflects Ryanair’s identity: friendly, efficient, and unmistakably yellow and blue.

Campaigns

In 2025 I contributed to the Paperless Boarding campaign, launched to eliminate printed boarding passes across all European airports from November 12th, 2025.

Working alongside the marketing team, I designed website banners, newsletters, email layouts, and airport materials such as pull-up banners and strut cards. The campaign promotes a more sustainable travel experience, reducing paper waste while driving users to the Ryanair app, where they can access digital passes and personalized add-ons like seat selection or extra baggage.

This project was a major milestone, combining creativity and strategy to communicate a meaningful brand shift across both digital and physical touchpoints.

In-flight materials

Another key area of my work at Ryanair involves the design of in-flight promotional materials used by the cabin crew during flights. These include flyers and brochures showcasing duty-free offers, onboard deals, and limited-time promotions available to passengers throughout their journey.
